FNA was founded as a filmmaking collective in 2002. Together we have made two micro budget comedy feature films, and a feature documentary about Newcastle United supporters (in post), four comedy sketches for Channel 4's Sparks, and over twenty short films. We have also produced dozens of corporates and educational films for charities, non-profits, and schools in the North East of England. We've been finalists at Rushes Soho Shorts and highly commended by the Royal Television Society (NETB) twice.
We Are The Geordies
Our first feature documentary, We Are The Geordies (aka the Newcastle United Fan Film) is in the final stages of post production. We followed 10 NUFC fans for an entire season - clocking up almost 10,000 miles in the process. The film is a love letter to the supporters of Newcastle United and features interviews with their world renowned ex manager, Rafa Benitez, as well as club legends Alan Shearer, (Sir) Les Ferdinand and Malcolm (Supermac) Macdonald.
